I have not received an email from JIRA and Confluence since 4th Sep 2024.
We have checked on our server, downloaded the trace log report, and confirmed no notification mail from Jira was received on jigar@iservegroup.com
Other members of our teams are getting an email regularly same as before but only I am facing such issues without changing anything.
Please help us with the same.
Hi @jigar bhatt ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community
I understand that you are not receiving emails. I suspect this is due to the email suppression
Adding to the suppression list is a mechanism to avoid spamming recipient mail servers and indicating that an error has occurred, having identified they are not available to receive the email. The recipient may not be available due to various reasons some of which are, but are not limited to - DNS Resolution, Mailbox being full, Network issues, Firewall rules, Mailbox unavailable, Mail Servers facing reach-ability issues, User not setup, mailbox being inactive, etc.
We have a community post that can help you to un-suppress emails. Please find the posts below
If the you are not part of the suppression list , request you to reach out to support here: https://support.atlassian.com/ so that we can further check the account.
Thank You,
Prachi
hi @jigar bhatt ,
To address the issue of not receiving emails from JIRA and Confluence since September 4, 2024, here are steps you can take to resolve the problem:
Verify Notification Settings in JIRA:
JIRA Notification Scheme: Check if your JIRA project’s notification scheme is configured properly. It’s possible that changes to the scheme may be preventing you from receiving notifications for certain actions.
Contact Your JIRA Admin: Ask your JIRA or Confluence admin to:
Check Mail Server Configuration: Since other team members are receiving notifications, the issue may be specific to your email address. The admin can verify the server’s mail logs to check for any bounce-backs or delivery errors to your email.
Atlassian Support: If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Atlassian support for further assistance. They can investigate if there are any issues with email notifications on their end.
