Recur a task twice a week

I have done the recurring process as explained but it's still recurring on the wrong days of the week. I have set it to recur on Wednesday and Friday but it is recurring on one Wednesday and all the rest are on Monday. Not sure what is happening or if there is something I am doing wrong. I am new to Jira so still trying to get a hang of things. Attaching pictures of what I have done so far and what my view shows.

What you are seeing on the calendar is one task with the key of LD-1 and Summary of "Work 1". The bar that you see is the time span between the Start date and Due date that you specified for that task one task.

The circling arrows that you see next to the Summary indicate that a Recurrence has been set up for that task. 

The new tasks will not be created until the days of the week you specified - Wednesday and Friday. On those days of the week you will see the new task created as a clone of the original task.

This functionality automatically creates an Automation Rule to execute the creation of the new tasks. This is important to note because in a Free subscription you are limited to 100 rule executions per month. This recurrence will account for monthly rule executions totaling (the number of Weds. in the month) + (the number of Fridays in the month). If you have a lot of rules or a lot of tasks set up with Recurrence, you may hit that monthly limit.
