Recurring Tasks in JIRA for onDemand version

Is there anything out there for scheduling reoccurring tasks in JIRA for onDemand version? I know there's the 'scheduler' but it's only if you host JIRA yourself (which we don't).

I'd prefer not to have to load hundreds of tasks to line them up. Any help is appreciated!

You can use JIRA Command Line Interface (CLI) with OnDemand. Use the techniques provided in this example: How to create projects or sets of issues based on a template . To fully automate it, add the script to your favorite job scheduler or Bamboo.
