Redirecting Jira

Urlrewrite doesn’t work. My installation of Jira was at https://firstaddress but our addons and gadgets were failing because the problems with our CA and certificate file. So, it is now, https://nicername.company.com

I am trying to configure Jira to redirect all requests to the old address to the new address because we have a working certificate on the newer address. But we have quality documents pointing to the old address. A redirect would be best.

Do you have a reverse proxy in front of jira - eg: nginx or Apache?
