Regarding using same status in different workflow

Hi,

I am using JIRA Server version 7.10.2. At first I have created workflow for Bug using different status such as open , In progress, Closed etc.Now when I am creating another workflow for Task, Jira doesnt allow me to use same status in Task workflow which are already used in Bug workflow.In Red mark its giving message like “Open” status is already used in so and so workflow. Due to this I need to Make status such as adding square bracket [ Open], Adding dot like “Open.”Is there any workaround over this. Kindly suggest.

Re-use the existing status.  You are trying to add new status with the same name as a status that already exists.   Stop trying to create new ones and click on the status selection option to associate one that you already have.
