Release based on a filter

Hello Community,

I have a question related to releases in Kanban Boards Jira.

I have a board with tasks from 2 different components. I want all these tasks in the same board, but when it comes to releasing, I want to release based on components?

Is this possible?

Can we do a release based on a component or on a filter?

I would probably suggest that you create three boards. Two for releasing by component and a third to see all issues and, if desired, manage the issues thru the workflow. Maybe in this third board you create to swimlanes using the component.
