Release burndown in team managed project

Andy Tomlin November 10, 2023

It looks like release burndown is missing in team managed projects. I saw someone else ask this question with no answer. How do I create release burndown in teams managed without all the headache of migrating to company managed.

Hi @Andy Tomlin,

Our Great Gadgets app offers a powerful Release Burnup Burndown Chart gadget that works with both company-managed and team-managed projects.

It has some features that the Jira report do not offer: forecast ETA , milestones achievement, can include sub-tasks in the calculation and works with any type of estimates, can be cross-teams or for single team.

Please note that this app offers many other gadgets that you can use for tracking your Jira projects (Scrum, Kanban, Service Desk, etc), so it will be a great asset for your team or company.

Have a look over the articles from our blog to make a better idea.

I hope this helps.

Thank you,

Hi @Andy Tomlin ,

Welcome to Atlassian community!

As you mentioned to create a release burdown report is not possible in Team managed project.

This is feature is not available So Atlassian alredy created a feature ticket for this

It would be grate If you want to use that feature then you have to migrate to company managed projects.

Please Accept the answer If helps you 😊.

Sanjen,

Thanks for your response, unfortunately that issue has been open since 2019 and tagged low priority, so seems unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Cheers Andy
