Release date is not saved

Eran Shmueli November 4, 2018

Hi Guys,

I saw people asked in the past, I've followed the answers given, but still.

I create a release, set the release date to be 28.11, it says it is saved, but after refresh it says 2.11 and not 28.11

tried creating new release, merging the old one. still.

Please assist

exhausted...

thanks,

Eran

It feels like this is a date format problem.  Where you think you're entering the 28th day of the month, but Jira is actually believing you're using a different value such as month that only has valid values between 1 and 12.   Hence your 28 can get truncated down to 2.

But this is largely a hunch.  In my own cloud site, I only see the date format of yyyy/mm/dd as in this screenshot:

Are you creating this somewhere different on your site?

What language and region have you defined in your Jira site and personal profile?  I'm interested to learn if perhaps this is a regional setting gone wrong or a dialog box for some specific place in Jira that might be a bug.

Hi

I have the same date picker like you do, so I'm pretty sure its not the problem.

really in the dark about that, can't find any answer anywhere, and it seems Jira support are not responding for a reason...

thanks,

Eran.
