Releases panel only showing deployments to Development

We have integrated our instance of Jira with GitLab and are experimenting with the Releases/Deployments functionality.
If a Jira ticket ID is referenced, we currently only seem to be able to see when the code has been deployed to Development, but no other environments (so nothing for Testing, Staging or Production).
Has anyone else had this experience and found a way past it?
