Hi,
As admins we make a change to a workflow or scheme etc on a particular project and then move to the next job. However on some projects we receive constant notifications from the same projects sometimes months afterwards. We never add ourselves to the notification scheme or as watchers.
If we remove ourselves from all of the project roles and it makes no difference. The only respite seems to be when we temporarily swap out the notification scheme to one that has nothing in it. The emails stop for a day or two but as soon as we swop back the notification scheme it starts all over again.
Any ideas?
Hello @Peter Ellis
That would seem to indicate that you are being added to something that is part of the Notification Scheme for the project. It could be a Project Role or a User Group.
Have you tried using the Notification Helper tool available to Jira Admins? That might give you some clue about how the notification process is deciding you should receive the notifications.
