Hi,

I have one scenario with subtask that has original estimate 10h and logged hours 11h.

But remaining estimate showing as 0h instead of -1h. Does anyone help me to understand why Jira not showing negative values. Is there any specific reason?

Do we really use burndown chart to show in negative value for remaining estimate?

Thanks,

Om

Because once you've used up the remaining estimate, you've used it.  Logically, you cannot give a negative estimate.  When you do go over the estimate, the numbers become an excess instead.
