Remaining estimate does not calculate correctly from children

I use sub-tasks on stories and also utilize time tracking. If I set a story to have zeroes on both original estimates and remaining estimates, then, I select the "include sub-tasks" flag, the system will immediately recalculate, correctly. But, then if I refresh, the remaining estimate on the story will show the original estimates (calculated from sub-tasks) plus the true remaining time (from sub-tasks)...what am I doing wrong?
