Remove banner warning from Jira dashboard

My JIRA dashboard has a warning banner on top that I'd like to remove:

"This is a warning that the system will go live on January 1st, 2016"

I don't know why this warning is there, but considering that was five months ago it is clearly pointless now regardless of what it was supposed to be about, so I just want to remove it.

Any ideas about how to do that?

Log in as an admin and go to Admin -> user interface -> announcement banner and clear the content
