Hi .. in the projects section there is a search bar and beside that, a bar for filters.
For me, the filter bar is pre populated with a filter I don't want. I can x to remove the filter but it reappears every time I reopen Jira.
Anyone know how I can remove it permanently ... or change to another filter?
thanks
Hello @Debra Rimmer ,
Do you mean here to reopen?
Or in other ways, you can pay attention to how the hyperlink address is displayed when you open this page.
e.g: https://x.atlassian.net/jira/projects?selectedProjectType=software
Hi Ollie ...
I go in through Confluence and switch to Jira where you've added the arrow - so, yes, that's where I'd reopen. That, then, takes me to my projects page.
And, I can see the hyperlink address has 'select software' (=/projects?selectedProjectType=software).
If I'm understanding you correctly, I guess my question is, can I change the address that Jira button points to so it is not preselecting software?
thanks,
Debra

Hi @Debra Rimmer ,
Unfortunately, as far as I know this is not configurable.
I think this may be related to the default Types of different Jira products, such as the following mapping relationship
Jira Software = Software
Jira Service Management = Service Management
Jira Work Management = Business

hi @Ollie Guan
I wonder, then if I don't have the right issue - that is, if the problem is not that hyperlink address.
The other person in my group doesn't have this as the default.
It appears to me that the 'Software' filter in this case applies to the 'Type' - many items in the list are software (used by people outside my group).
The Type I want is Company-managed business - so with the software filter it doesn't show on the list.

It seems that this type of filtering is not currently supported, pls vote for the following ticket.
