Remove completed Epic from Active Sprints

I have completed an Epic and marked it as done, this has removed it from the backlog but it still displays in Active sprints.

I have attempted a few JQL quick filters but when active removes every single issue from the Active sprint view.

I have board admin rights but not entire site admin rights.

Can you provide a screen image to demonstrate what you mean by the Epic is still displayed in the Active Sprints?

Is it displaying as a card in the sprint, the same way its child issues display in the sprint?
