Remove in app advertisement

Is there a way to get rid of those ANNOYING ads for other Atlassian services like 'Setup customer service desk' on the 'my work' page. There may be other places... like the 'discover' options.

I DON'T want that distraction. It sits there asking for attention!! Has nothing to do with the product I pay for and I am obviously not paying for those other services as I don't need them, don't want them, don't want to be bothered by them.

Reading some other community posts on this issue, people seem to have gotten help by contacting Atlassian support to update communications preferences.  Maybe give that a try:
