Remove or Hide a locked field

In my new software, company managed Kanban project there is a field "Development" that I would like to remove or hide. When I go to my Field configurations scheme, that is only used by my new project, the Field is marked with Locked (in red text) and I have no option to hide the field.

How can I get rid of this field?
