My JIRA administration will not grant me permission to archive my completed projects. Can you please tell me another way that I can remove projects from my project list once they are completed?
Basically what I do in the situation is link the project to a permission scheme that is very limited as to who has permissions to Browse Project and Create Issue permissions in the scheme.

Unfortunately you cannot. A project would need to be archived which is only available in premium or trashed. Both of these options require administration rights.
