Removing stories from next-gen kanban boards

Chris Cannacott February 4, 2020

I've read a thread that tasks are removed from a board automatically after 14 days if they are 'done' - so in the last column.

If using the board in sub-task view will this logic be applied to the story if the status of that has also been changed to done even though the story isn't showing in the last column (due to the view).

Also, just to double check - if you do a release this also doesn't remove items from the board immediately does it?

Thanks

Hello Chris,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

Issues are removed from the board after 14 days without any update. The last column is the one that adds a resolution to a ticket, so that's the column the ticket must be.

I tested here and when the ticket has sub-tasks, the Parent ticket won't be updated if the sub-tasks are updated.

Releasing a version also doesn't update the ticket and won't remove it from the board.

If you have any other questions regarding this matter, please let us know.

Regards,
Angélica
