I am trying to respond to Atlassian staff member's questions on threads, but the "Reply..." field doesn't initialise properly. For some reason they work on this page: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Check-out-6-usability-improvements-to-Jira-Software-Cloud-and-a/ba-p/2297967/page/3#M8715 when I click the text box, the grey example text disappears and the formatting buttons appear, and I can type and submit my comment. But on these pages:

I click on a text box and the grey "Write a comment ..." or "Reply" example text stays there, I can type grey text with it but no Submit button appears.
In particular I am trying to reply to @Arbaaz Gowher - if you can read this Arbaaz, thank you for replying to me, I am trying to answer you!
Hi Neil, I greatly appreciate going the extra mile to reply to my comment from the other post. I read somewhere that you have webcam/microphone issues, so it'd be difficult to chat over a call.
