I would like to be able to generate a report with charts for this query

Number of bugs/stories fixed by each release(which is managed by fix version) broken down by priority. I spent a fair amount of trying different possibilities but I could get to number of bugs/stories fixed for "n" releases but cannot do it for each release and also I couldn't do it by priority.

Any suggestions/help is appreciated.

I am assuming that you are talking about JIRA.

That's a three dimensional chart. What we used to do was the SQL macro in Confluence connecting to the jira db in read only mode and using the data in a chart macro in a confluence page.

And this might help: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.tngtech.gadgets.jira-barchart-gadget-plugin
