Report: Ticket per Month (incl. name of employee)

Dear all,

may I ask for your support? To improve our reporting, we would like to report which employee has done which tickets in which month. Please, can you help me how I can create this report?

Hi Martin,

Start by looking at the 2-dimensional gadget on the dashboard. You can create a filter like below.

project in (a, b, c...) and resolutiondate >= startOfMonth()

Then in the 2-D gadget maybe choose Y-axis = Assignee and X-axis = Project. Now you may wish to reverse the x/y or you might want a different x-axis but you can play with it to meet your needs.

Now, this will give you a 'month-to-date' running view. If you want an end-of-month view I would run a subscription on a filter at the end of the month.

Thank you for your reply, I have to check it tomorrow.

But maybe it's a misunderstanding and a report could be better.

So, what we need for reporting is an overview like following.

The numbers are tasks (or sub-tasks) which the employee has closed in the corresponding month. 

                                      JAN        FEB      MAR

Employee A                     3             2           5

Employee B                      1             3           1

Is that possible with JIRA?
