Report hours worked of any period - per project or set of tasks

Hi,

I can see the total hours per task in the time track report, but it always shows the total for all hours ever worked per task.

How can I show the hours worked in a specific interval only for several tasks or a whole project? For example all hours worked on a project per month?

If there was not a "trick" in the time track report, can this done by a selection with JRL where the hours are summed up? Or is better done using the rest interface?
