Hello,
I was wondering if there's a way to know how much time an issue spent in each status, for example: how many days or hours an issue was in backlog, in progress, etc and how much time it took to complete this issue from creation to resolution.
I use the Jira Software Server 7.10.
Thanks so much in advance.
Hi @Fernanda Grandizoli ,
As a free solution, you can try Status Time Free. It a limited but free version of Status Time app. Hope it helps.
Hello @Fernanda Grandizoli
You can try Time between Statuses (server). This add-on calculates both time in each status and time between statuses. So you can easily solve your issue.
To get data about the time in one status you need to choose the same status as "Start" and "Stop" conditions.
If you have any additional questions. I'm glad to assist you.
Best regards, Mariana

You can try our plugin which exactly meets your requirements. Also this plugin is quite inexpensive.
It will help you to track the assignee's of your issue and the time in status during each transition.
This plugin adds three tabs on your issue screen and you will not have to navigate to any other page.
Status Transition : View all the statuses changes in a single tab along with time in each state. Toggle the Graph button to visualize the status transition data in a table format or in a graphical view.
· Assignee Transition : View all the assignee's for the issue along with the time for which the issue was with each assignee. Toggle the Graph button to visualize the assignee transition data in a table format or in a graphical view.
· Issue Tracker : Simple yet attractive graph to view the complete trace of the issue, with assignee avatars, duration with assignee and duration in state

Hi @Fernanda Grandizoli ,
Jira doesn't come with this feature of the box. That's why there is a plugin that can satisfy your requirement: Enhancer Plugin for Jira
Enhancer Plugin is one of the oldest plugins in Jira and it has Time in Status custom field which does the exact same thing you're asking about: Measure the time spent in each status against a calendar you've defined or 7x24. It also gives you the drill-down information based on assignee:
It also has other great features to like Time Til Resolution custom field, Status Counter custom field and Time between custom field (measures time spent between twostatuses/events.)
You can also add this field to the search screen and get reports and use Enhancer plugin's gadgets.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Gökçe
