I need to obtain a report that contains the Jira nd Confluence users with the project(s) they are assigned to and the user's profile. How can I get them?"

Hi Welcome to the community! 👋

Unfortunately, there's no built-in report in Jira or Confluence that directly provides a list of users along with the specific projects they are assigned to and their user profile details. I know that can be a bit limiting, especially when you're trying to get a comprehensive view of access and usage across your instance.

That said, you can get part of the picture by exporting your user list from the Atlassian Admin Console. Here's how:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com.
  2. Select your organization.
  3. Navigate to Directory > Managed accounts.
  4. Use the Export users option to download a CSV of all users.
  5. In that list, you’ll be able to see what Atlassian products each user has access to, such as Jira or Confluence.

While this won’t show you what specific projects they’re assigned to, it does help you track product access. To get project-level assignments, you’d need to dive into each Jira project’s People settings.

Hi @anakaren.martinez

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

There is no built-in solution for the report you asked. If you prefer using a marketplace solution, you can try Project Roles- Groups and Users app.

This app introduces a new tab to your projects named "Project Roles" and this page displays the project roles and the groups/users assigned to these roles within your projects. Thus, any project member can get a full picture of the project roles that they are working on.

In addition, this app introduces "Project Roles" page for Jira administrators with 2 different and valuable views:

  • Projects -> Users View: They can list all projects and see associated project roles with assigned groups/users on a single page.
  • Users -> Projects View: They can list all users and see assigned project roles and projects on a single page.

If you have any questions, feel free to schedule a call with us.

Hope it helps.
