Reporter field not loading current users

Hello,

I have the reporter field set that anyone can add a user in JIRA as the reporter, however as an admin I see the list of users as I type their name, but anyone else does not see it. I have the Modify Reporter set to anyone, so they can edit, but can't add a user at all.

Have you granted your users the global permission "browse users"? If they don't have it, they won't get the list of possible users in the user fields.

Thanks Nic. That was it. I keep forgetting that there are global permissions as well.
