Reporter variable in Subject notification

Hello, 

I would like to add a ${issue.reporter.name} to subject of an email notification I'm sending, 

by default it only offers me ${issue.summary} , ${issue.key} and ${portal.name} and i would like to add ${issue.reporter.name}  but it does not allow it.

${issue.getReporter().displayName}

It allows the variable but doesn't work, the subject of an email I get looks like this 

${issue.getReporter().displayName} LNL-62 test reporter in subject
