Reporting lost historical burndown data after upgrading

We finally upgraded from v7.2.3 to 7.10.2 (on prem) and everything looks super awesome, but our Burndown and Sprint Reports don't show any data for historical sprints anymore (i.e. Reports for old sprints don't display any issues)

Does anyone have any idea how I can trouble shoot this?

Aha! I had a better admin help me out... 

It turns out this is a re-index (index recovery) related issue, and it can be fixed by following Atlassian's documentation:
