Hello there,
I'm hoping someone here could help me out with a query I got from a colleague.
Basically as the title suggests, she is looking to create a a report or dashboard, that is going to show how many story points are in each status category (to do, in progress, done) in each epic.
I looked into the epic burndown, epic report, pie chart per epic, two dimensional filter per epic, but none of these seem to give what I'm looking for. Mostly what I get is number of user stories per status, but what I need is number of storypoints per status category.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks,
Reka
Hi @frida_ferencz ,
What Bill says is a great starting point. However, if you are open to try dedicated apps for this requirement, one option you can go with is Better Excel Exporter for Jira.
You will be able to export the data you want to analyze and use Excel's native and tried features to dig deeper. The app even comes with dedicated Excel templates to create Jira agile reports, similar to what you need.
Here is an example output for an story point per epic report:

(Please note that Better Excel Exporter is a paid and supported app and I'm part of the team developing it.)

What Marketplace add-on would be best to get this kind of report?

First thing: I do not work for a marketplace vendor or have any of the charting tools in use.
You could search the marketplace for dashboard gadgets and probably find several that could help: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=dashboard%20gadget
