Hello, is it possible to generate a custom report not based on the "resolution" field but on other fields like "status"?

Yes, you can report on any field you choose.

Thank you guys, but what about graphs? it seems not possible make custom classification on what Jira consider resolved and unresolved.

Graphs can be used for any field they support.

Jira's use of the resolution field to determine resolution is core to the product and cannot be changed at present.

Go to the report you want to run, and select the appropriate field.  Not sure how that is "not intuitive"

Yes, you can use custom filters or dashboards to create this report.
