hi all, so is there any way we can automate an operation like add column into a table in the database? like the user will give the details and jira pick up the information register by the user and do the process of the adding column themselves without we have to do it manually?

If you want to add a new column in the DB the Jira is not the right tool for it.
Jira is meant for supporting Agile processes and process automation and collaboration across teams, it's not meant for direct DB operations.
