Hello Atlassian Support Team,

I accidentally joined a project/organization that I should not be part of.

I tried to contact the project admin, but there was no contact information available.

I have not accessed or modified any data inside this project.
This was a mistake, and I want to leave the project immediately.

Previously, I submitted a request via the Abuse form, but it appears my ticket was mistakenly marked as Spam and closed.

Please remove my account from this project as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your help.IMG_6975.jpgIMG_6976.jpg

Hi @Jisoo Kim ,

⚠️Please note that this is a public forum and that it's not recommended to share personal details such as your email address.

As for the issue, the first step would probably be to reach out to your project or Jira admin. If you don't have their direct contacts, you can reach out to your IT support to try to assist you with what the next steps would be.
Also, you could try reaching out to your team/lead manager, who will probably redirect your request internally.

What Atlassian Support can do in these situations is probably give you the contact information of the Jira/project admin on the instance you've mentioned. These people are still in charge of access management when it comes to their instance(s).
Not sure if it's possible to comment on this 'spammed' ticket, or you could potentially create a new one referring to the original and stating that this, in fact, isn't a spam.

Cheers,
Tobi

Firstly, thank you for lending me a hand

As a label next to my name states I'm a newbie, I've just signed up Atlassian at  yesterday night. I clicked nine dots while reading Atlassian Git documents. After I clicked the dots, due to my fat finger, I accidentally joined another project.

I am not belonged to any organization or corporate. Neither, I am not working for any sort of company or startup. I'm just a first year Sydney university student. That means there is no one like IT support or lead manager I can reach out to help and resolve my current issue.

I guess they treated my ticket as 'spammed' because the internal Atlassian system might think I raised a ticket in a wrong place and they labeled it as 'spammed'. As you can see from my attached photos, I already know I sent a ticket to the abuse category, which is not for dealing with my issue.

I reckon the correct place I need to submit my issue report is 'Account Login and Email issue'. However, I ticked that tab and entered the URL I happened to join. They suggested three options but there was no ticket form I can submit.

The first option is getting help from your site admin. As I mentioned, they don't have contact details. I have no way to contact them.

The second option is getting help from the Atlassian Community, which is I'm currently doing.

The third option is checking out Atlassian Account how-to guides. It cannot resolve my problem.

So what I supposed to do? If I choose the correct place for my issue, they don't let me raise a ticket. If I raise a ticket in an inappropriate place, they immediately label my issue as spammed. Moreover, I cannot find any kind of Atlassian phone number. I think this space is the only space I can talk with a real person.

Best

Jisoo
