Require support info for running Jira Software on MS Azure PAAS

Hi

Currently, we have installed version 7.1.8 of Jira Software Server on MS Azure IAAS.  I am looking at upgrading to a newer version of Jira and was asked if we could migrate to a PAAS implementation (saving costs?) at the same time.  I know that Jira  works on IAAS (we are currently installed as such)  and found references to support that.  I did find a passing reference to PAAS in an IAAS page (https://www.atlassian.com/blog/enterprise/atlassian-data-center-iaas) but no specific reference/support document for PAAS.

Has anyone installed Jira on MS Azure PASS?  Does Atlassion support implementations on PAAS?  Is there any constraints or issues in a PAAS environment.

Hi Tony - did you get anywhere with this? We're also considering a PaaS deployment for our software installation, but there seems to be limited documentation around config for this
