If the project Manager changes the project name, the project category is reset to"none".
As a result, we, system administrators, are forced to change the category of the project.
In the table of SQL server logs there is a record that the project Manager changed the category, although he changed its name.
jira-administrator changes the name of the project without consequences.

I think you are facing this bug

which was resolved in specific versions. If you want to fix it you would probably need to upgrade your JIRA instance.
