Resolution Field shows 'Done' though we closed the story as "Cannot Reproduce" , we would like it to show "Cannot Reproduce" instead.
Are you working on a company managed project, or a team managed project?
If you are working on a CMP, this can be easily done if you add a screen on your transition while moving the issue to the Done status. This screen should contain the resolution field and the user should be able to choose any status he/she likes. You could also automate this, without screen, via the issue type's workflow, by adding a post function to set the resolution to "Cannot Reproduce".
On a TMP, you can't set a different resolution than done. You can read also this thread.
I did that and one step is remaining, which is to automatically copy the resolution form Resolve Issue screen as selected by the user and put it on the story in the resolution field

do you want to automatically set this value? Then you will have to edit the transition leading to Done within the workflow. Is that one called "Cannot reproduce"? I bet right now it simply looks like this:

Thank you Max.
What if I wanted it to be dynamic according to the options that we have in Resolve Issue screen, as we have more than one option.
like Rejected, Won't Do ..etc

Hey @Roaa Rasheed , if you let users select the value in the field on a screen during the transition, you don't need to automate anything as the user actually set the field value already. Are you sure you want users to set the field value and automate setting a different value afterward? That doesn't sound recommendable in my opinion.

Yes that's true, they select the resolution in the screen (rejected for example) and once the screen is closed, the ticket will Show Done, Done instead of Done, Rejected.
and that what I'm trying to solve.

Hey, what will show Done etc. The status of the issue? Because we're talking about two different things here, it seems:
You should make sure that no post function is overriding the selected value.

Yes there was a post function that is setting the resolution to 'Done' , once removed it worked perfectly!
Thank you so much!

@Roaa Rasheed, you're welcome. Glad you could sort it out. Enjoy the new correct resolution values! 😁🤘🏽
