Resolution - mandatory field

Hi

I have weird behaviour or don't know JIRA too well.

I have a transition with resolution screen (one of defaults).

There are no validators on the screen, yet, it requires me to input resolution.

Can this requirement be set somewhere else than on the workflow transition?

Technically, it's not mandatory, it's just defaulted on the screen, and has no option to leave it blank, so it always gets set.

There's no way to change this.  You need to revise all the screens in your system and simply not use resolution on any create, edit or transition screens, except for transitions which take an issue from a "not closed" status (blue or yellow in the workflow diagrams) to a "closed" one (green).  (Or green to green)
