Resolution set when adding item to sprint

I've got a weird issue happening that I'm kind of stumped on.  Hoping you-all can help me out.

When my project users create items in the backlog and once created, move them to a future sprint, the work items is automatically adding a resolution of Done to the card.  It's not happening for me (admin rights) and its not happening to other projects that use the same workflow.  I don't see any Jira Automation that would cause this issue.  

This happen with multiple workflows as Bugs/Stories are on one workflow and Tasks are on a separate workflow.

any suggestions?

hello @Buck , I can't think of anything which would update your resolution value when there is not project automation or postfunction configured in your workflow. However, I found this post where one of the users had similar case and he mentioned that removing "resolution" value from his "Default edit/create/view screen" has  solved the problem - Resolutions are being automatically changed to "Done" when the User Picker field is changed?
