Resoultion field can be made project specific?

In jira 5.1 can we make the resolution field project specific ? Like one project will have more open options in the drop down while other will have only the default ones?

Is it possible to do this?

No, it's not supported yet. Atlassian have a request for it, which was updated yesterday with some suggestion that it will happen in the next year-ish

Just to add on to what Nic said, you can use Workflow properties to limit the resolutions in different workflows. Just use different workflows in different projects.
