Rest Api capability

Hello,
I would like to know if for the jira version I am using in the company (cloud) there are rest api to be able to create and modify issues. I would need to know this in order to delegate the creation and editing of issue jira to an automatic process based on certain business logic.
Could you please also point them out to me if possible?
