RestFul API not working as the documentation said it should be.

Hello, I need to reach out and ask if you all have been able to get the restful API working in Jira. We have followed the help doc's instructions to no avail. We are on a VPN the Model of Jira is DC and we are using a token generated by Jira. If one of you has been able to get this feature working please advise. Thank You.

what are you trying to achieve? which API are you calling? How does your call look like? How does the result look like? Do you get any error? If so: which one?
