Restrict browsing issues to the reporter and ... watchers.

Hi folks,
We work with 2 standards user groups in JIRA.

Users who can create issues (jira-users) and the support team (jira-developer).

I want the user to be able to create issues and only be able to browse and edit their own issues they created.
To fix this situation, in the permission scheme I assigned "Browse Projects" to "Reporter" and group "jira-developers" --> it works fine.

However we've started to use the watching feature and users (jira-users) are not allowed to see issues created by someone else and in which they have been added as a watcher.

Is there a way to give permission to users to see also issues in which they're a watcher?

It was not possible with JIRA 4.0 but maybe now JIRA 5.2 gives a trick for this?

Even if you could add watchers to the permission scheme (you can with the watchers custom field plugin) you are not able to add a watcher if the user you want to add could not browse the issue.

We are using a multi user custom field called "Contributors" where we add people who should be able to access the issue. The Contributors custom field can be added to the Browse Project Permission or could be used in a security level to grant access to the issue.
