Retention of Sprint Info for Epics that are Moved from one Sprint to Another

Initially an Epic is assigned to Sprint A.  As time moves on, the Epic is moved to Sprint B.  If you review the Epic, the "Sprint" custom field now contains "Sprint A, Sprint B".  Is there any way to remove all previous Sprints an Epic might be part of and just list the latest Sprint?  So in this case it would just list "Sprint B"?

Hi @Robert W_ Olsen - Typically you don't assign epics to sprints because their child issues will span multiple sprints.

Having stated that, Jira will capture every sprint an issue has been assigned to by design because you can view the history on relevant sprint reports.  You could potentially do something with automation that extracts the last sprint and replaces the value if you have no flexibility in your business process to change how you're doing things.
