Retrieve a field from database during issue creation

Hello team,

Is it possible to retrieve a field while issue creation from database ? Actually, we have a joiner/leaver form in jira, so while raising a leaver ticket for employee, we need to find the employee type from database ( whether employee is internal or supplier ). Is it possible to do ?
