Reverse proxy not allowing JIRA-HP ALM sync

Hi all,

We are trying to setup integration between HP APM and JIRA using HP ALM Synchronizer. The sync works when we use Jira's Tomcat URL with the port number in it. However it fails when we use the Apache SSL URL. HP Support have replied saying that the Synchrinozer doesn't support reverse proxy. Our Jira version is 7.1.9 and HP ALM version is 12. This worked on a different project when we had Jira 6x and HP ALM 11.

Most importantly, can we use the AppLinks to provide HP ALM's public key in JIRA and have the sync working in both directions?
