Revoke site access?

Hi,

For people who have left the company:

-I want to get their licence allocation back in the pool, so that it can be used for new users.

-I still want to see their names against old tickets.

Will “revoke site access” achieve both of these criteria?

Thanks!

Hi @Louis Mehr  - The quick and simple answer to your final question is Yes, it will achieve both of what you want. :-)

Thanks all.  Good responses.  Revoke seems to work.  Special case is when user has never accepted the initial invitation to logon.  Have to delete this type of user separately as can't revoke their access.

Revoking their site access results in

  • Issues that they'd previously created/assigned will retain their name, but when you hover over it, it will say 'inactive'
  • Their previous account will show in user management but will be greyed
  • Your licence count wiill drop by 1
  • Your monthly subscription will drop by > $10

They will no longer be able to sign in.

Removing the user will remove the user name - revoke is the best option if you want an audit trail
