Hi,
we are using the Roadmap to plan our project based on sprints. (not advanced roadmap)
Status Quo:
For epics, we span the estimated time via drag and drop on the roadmap view.
Tasks and stories are associated with the specific sprint and hence are displayed in the roadmap within the corresponding sprint column.
However, we are looking for more options and are wondering how we can realize them with the roadmap.
1. Sometimes, a task isn't finished within the sprint. So we would like to plan it for 2 sprints. How do we do that without cloning/splitting the issue?
2. For some tasks, we want to express that they are due in the first half of the sprint. So we would like to assign a specific due date within the sprint (and display it on the roadmap). How can we do that?
3. For both of the features mentioned, we would prefer the drag and drop function on the roadmap (just like epics). Is that possible?
Thanks for your support
Hello @ICMS _ JIRA
Welcome to the community.
Those options are not available with the native Roadmap functionality in Jira.
If those are business critical needs, you may want to look at alternate roadmapping apps available from the Atlassian Marketplace.
