Roadmap/Timeline

Julie Mullen June 19, 2023

I have a roadmap, which contains epics, stories, tasks and sub tasks etc.  Is there a way to ensure these can be ordered within the roadmap or a report which will show the link between Epic to Stories to task?

When a new task is created etc it just goes to the bottom of the list, however I want to be able to show these linked?

@Julie Mullen Are you using the free Timeline view (vs. Advanced Roadmap option)? If so, your Timeline will only display issues by ID tracking # and not start or end date (or any other type of criteria). Also, the Timeline view doesn't show subtasks, full stop.

The Advanced Roadmap feature does allow subtasks. However, it's only available with Premium plans.

Alternatively, you can use Visor for free (up to 250 records) to make Gantts and Timeline charts with your Jira data. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226209/visor-flexible-spreadsheet-for-jira-roadmapping-bulk-edits?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

I'd love to hear how it works for you or help you make a Gantt. Hit me up if you need any help.
