1. Is it possible to customize the project roadmaps?

The Roadmap on Jira Software projects is basic. The features and customizations available are listed on the documentation below:

• Enable the roadmap

If there is specific customization you need, please share with us more details, so we can check if it's possible or we can create a suggestion.

2. Is it possible to configure your own hierarchy as is the case with "Epic -Task-Subtask" in existing project templates (Scrum, Kanban roadmaps)?

Currently, the roadmap only shows Epic and its child issues. There is a feature request suggesting the option to show sub-tasks as well:

3. Can tasks also be displayed as bars on the roadmap like Epic's?

The date range is still no available for child issues. There is also a feature request suggesting this option:

• Date range for child issues on roadmap

4. Can your own project templates be created and stored as is currently possible in the system?

The creation of project templates is currently not supported. It’s possible to create projects with shared configurations, but custom templates are not possible.

• Create a new project (Please, check “Create a project that shares its configuration with another project”)

There are suggestions related to templates as well:

• Create a Custom Project Template
• Allow support for project schemes or templates
