SSO login only for users in specific group

Hello,

we want to connect another ID provider in our JIRA (DC). However, only users in a specific group should be able to log in via this provider. Is there a setting or a corresponding plugin for this?

Hi @Holger Engelmann , Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

Your Jira datacenter is capable of having multiple directories that can hold the accounts fetched from ie. Microsoft Active Directory via LDAP query. Each directory can have it's own account source and filtering. Accounts get access if they match. Starting from the top directory to the next.

You find this under Admin Cogwheel - User Management - user/directories.
