Script fragments, create linked issue

Hey Everyone. 

while I am new to Jira put have been doing software dev for little while now. 

My question sound simple however I know the answer is not. 

I have a project where the customer would like to create a linked issue without changing the parent ticking in anyway (Other then the connection to linked issues). 

I feel like I should be able to use a "Script fragment" as a trigger, But I can't find the correct "script fragment" template. 

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
